Inspiration: Benjamin Moore's 2020 Color of the Year, First Light

You might have seen this color inspiration featured on our Instagram in our “Mood Board Monday” stories series. It was so much fun gathering inspiration or this bright and beautiful color, so I decided to pull it all into a blog post!

I love a good design trend. Benjamin Moore has put together their 2020 Color Trends, featuring their color of the year, First Light. “A soft, rosy hue blooming with potential.” You guys know I love a good pink color trend, but this color is especially flexible since it feels it is doing the work of a traditional neutral.

Here are some of my favorite ways the Benjamin Moore 2020 Color of the Year, First Light, is brightening up spaces and lives.

Inspiration: Pantone's 2020 Color of the Year, Classic Blue

New year, new design trends. Pantone has defined 2020 as the year of Classic Blue. That’s right, Pantone’s Color of the Year is good old Classic Blue.

While I am still not ready to let go of the 2019 color, Living Coral, and was hoping 2020 would be the year of another fun and bright color, I can get on board with this timeless color.
