A Colorful Summer Dinner Party

I am declaring that we need to make more time to have dinner parties with friends!

Ryan and I just finished a big renovation on the back of our house and to celebrate, I decided to host a Summer Dinner Party. The theme? It’s summer, I want to have a nice dinner on my new Concrete Collaborative table, an excuse to buy colorful table settings, all of my friends are amazing chefs, and it just so happened to be Krista’s (aka head of Marketing at Ann Cox Design) birthday. So it was a… colorful summer swanky birthday dinner party potluck. This is what that looked like:

Side Note: I know, I’m sorry, I haven’t done the big reveal of our renovation yet, but it’s because I’m waiting on just one more thing to get done then it will happen.

The inspiration for the dinner really began as I was scrolling through Canva and came across this invitation template. I love a red and pink color combo, so I found these placemats on H&M Home and then everything else just came to life. I knew I had my terrazzo table to work with, so I wanted all of the colors to pop and contrast with those tones. All of the details below:

Acrylic Pink Wine Glass from Anthro and Teal Water Glass from Blue Pheasant

Like I said earlier, we are making more time for dinner parties with friends! Everyone loved this so much we decided to keep these going, can’t wait to show you what we have planned for the next one.

Cheers!
